About Evermere
A practice built on listening
Evermere Integrative Psychiatry, PLLC was founded because women deserve psychiatric care that sees the full picture — not just a list of symptoms.

Our philosophy
We believe mental health is deeply connected to the body, relationships, hormones, sleep, stress, and the seasons of a woman’s life. That perspective shapes how we evaluate, support, and partner with every person who comes to Evermere.
Whether you are living with endometriosis, entering perimenopause or menopause, struggling with burnout, or navigating anxiety and depression, we aim to meet you with expertise, warmth, and a commitment to finding an approach that fits you.
The name
What Evermere means
Evermere comes from “ever” — continuity, presence, and enduring support — and “mere,” an old word for a calm, still body of water. Together they describe a place that is always here, quietly holding you, steady through the shifts and storms of life.
That is the spirit of this practice: a supportive space where you are seen fully, not rushed, and where care continues gently across the seasons of your health and your life.
My story
Why I founded Evermere
I am Dr. Cynthia Rusnak, and I founded Evermere because of my own experience living with Stage IV endometriosis.
I was grateful for the specialists, treatments, and support I received along the way. At the same time, I often wished there were a space where the mental, hormonal, and physical pieces of my health could be understood together — where someone would ask about sleep, stress, mood, pain, and the stories my body was telling, not as separate complaints, but as parts of one picture.
That experience shaped Evermere. It taught me that excellent psychiatric care can work hand-in-hand with the broader healthcare team a patient already has. My goal is not to replace the important work of surgeons, gynecologists, primary care providers, or therapists, but to add a psychiatric lens that is attuned to hormones, chronic illness, and the unique pressures women carry.
Evermere is the practice I wished I had: a calm, unhurried space where women navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, perimenopause, menopause, endometriosis, and complex health journeys feel truly heard and supported.
You deserve care that honors all of you. I would be honored to be part of yours.
